Buy a used car in Texas for the use of Illinois tax refund??
I-as a resident of Illinois and plan to buy a used car from a seller Texas private and go straight back to Illinois. "I can claim a tax refund using the state of Texas? I know that California has a provision for buyers from out of state, assuming you can prove you left the state immediately and do not drag (income credit automobile service stations, hotels, etc. etc.) I wonder if Texas has a provision. Google has not provided a clear answer.
If you are buying from an individual, with zero sales Texas or use tax.
