Besides my head I can think of: Sony, Toshiba, Hitachi, Sanyo, Sharp, Matsushita, Panasonic, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Nissan, Infiniti, Fuji, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Kawasaki, Casio, Pioneer, Nintendo, Sumitomo, NEC, Brother, Canon, Olympus. How Why? Oh, and Mazda.
more people involved and the operation of these companies are American and foreign. very few are actually Japanese.
